Macau Rain & Shine is designed to provide weather information without user accounts or advertising tracking.

Information we may use

  • Location: used, if allowed, to find the nearest Macau observation station and relevant local cards.
  • Notification token: used to deliver selected weather warning notifications.
  • Language and preferences: used to show the selected language, theme, card order and notification categories.
  • Weather cache: stored locally and, where needed, in the app group for widgets and Live Activities.
  • Purchase status: optional Support Me purchases are processed by Apple.

How information is used

Information is used to show weather data, update widgets, manage notification topics, start or update Live Activities, remember app preferences and process optional in-app purchases.

Third-party services

The app uses Apple system services such as Location Services, WidgetKit, ActivityKit, StoreKit and Mail. Push notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service. Weather content is based on public and official sources.

What we do not do

The app does not require an account, does not sell personal data, does not show third-party ads and does not receive your payment card information.

Retention and control

You can disable location, notifications or remove the app at any time through iOS Settings. Local app data is removed when the app is deleted. Notification tokens may be refreshed or deleted when notification preferences change.

Sol e Chuva Macau foi criada para fornecer informação meteorológica sem contas de utilizador nem rastreio publicitário.

Informação que podemos usar

  • Localização: usada, se autorizada, para encontrar a estação de observação de Macau mais próxima e cartões locais relevantes.
  • Token de notificação: usado para enviar as notificações de avisos meteorológicos escolhidas pelo utilizador.
  • Idioma e preferências: usados para mostrar o idioma, tema, ordem dos cartões e categorias de notificação selecionados.
  • Cache meteorológica: guardada localmente e, quando necessário, no App Group para widgets e Live Activities.
  • Estado de compra: compras opcionais Support Me são processadas pela Apple.

Como a informação é usada

A informação é usada para mostrar dados meteorológicos, atualizar widgets, gerir tópicos de notificação, iniciar ou atualizar Live Activities, guardar preferências e processar compras opcionais na app.

Serviços de terceiros

A app usa serviços do sistema Apple, como Localização, WidgetKit, ActivityKit, StoreKit e Mail. As notificações push são enviadas através do Firebase Cloud Messaging e Apple Push Notification service. O conteúdo meteorológico baseia-se em fontes públicas e oficiais.

O que não fazemos

A app não exige conta, não vende dados pessoais, não mostra anúncios de terceiros e não recebe dados do seu cartão de pagamento.

Retenção e controlo

Pode desativar localização, notificações ou remover a app a qualquer momento nas Definições do iOS. Ao apagar a app, os dados locais da app são removidos. Os tokens de notificação podem ser atualizados ou apagados quando as preferências mudam.
